Moving Forward in Faith: Prayers, Praises, and Progress

Every journey of faith is marked by waiting, trusting, and celebrating each breakthrough. Our family stands on the threshold of new steps and answered prayers, believing that God’s timing is perfect even in moments of delay. We’re so grateful for the prayers, encouragement, and partnership of those walking this road with us .

Progress and Praises

We’ve seen exciting movement:

  • Completed background checks and sent documents to be apostilled for Spain—another box checked on this long-awaited process.
  • Received and returned the letter from Isabelle, now including Declan. This small task marks a big milestone as we wait with hope .
  • Someone saw the car yesterday—prayerfully waiting for them to confirm their interest and secure the funds by Wednesday.
  • Kyle’s job has extended for a few more weeks, an unexpected blessing and provision .
  • Housechurch is flourishing: good food, fellowship, and fruit in Christ. Meeting new families with help from Honour and Kirk, and we’re excited about the relationships beginning to take root .
  • Back to School Bash was a blessing! All 49 backpacks given out, meals served, prayers lifted, and hearts encouraged among families in our community. It’s the second year, and God’s faithfulness grows with each connection .

School, Spanish, and Seeds of Change

School continues for the boys, with Spanish immersion on the horizon. Curious George in Spanish has become a favorite—and every minute helps build language confidence for the future . Declan is now three months old; time flies, and health and growth are blessings we don’t take for granted.

We’re also rejoicing in the new release of the Living Stones Study and praying for continued growth and impact in families and children through this resource .

New Connections and Ministry Momentum

Kyle’s recent conversation with a team involved in DMM and CPM (disciple-making and church planting movements) in southern Spain was a source of encouragement and challenge. We’ve been invited to join a prayer coalition meeting—a gateway to broader ministry relationships, and we sense the need for revival and renewed passion among Christ-followers there .

Current Needs and Prayer Requests

We recognize many things are in transition and we truly depend on God’s strength. Here’s how you can pray with us:

  • Wisdom and patience during this waiting season, especially with the house and car still unsold and market conditions unchanged.
  • The upcoming coalition meeting in Spain at the end of October—praying for God’s will regarding our attendance.
  • Healing for Rowan and Kyle, and for quick recovery from recent colds and flu in the household.
  • Complete visa paperwork and fundraising progress as deadlines approach.
  • Assimilation and language learning—continued growth and courage for all of us as we prepare for life in Spain .
  • Faithful Christian friends for us and the boys in Spain. Praying for deep relationships and fruitful discipleship.
  • Continued growth and fruit in Living Stones Study and house church gatherings.
  • God’s guidance in parenting and leading our children well.
  • Spiritual protection and effectiveness for the upcoming 10 Days prayer event, especially for persecuted believers and for children engaging with the prayer guide.
  • Isabelle’s health and for Bethel.

Encouragement for Fellow Workers

God reminded us this year to “pray for workers, for the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” It’s easy to pray for those who don’t yet believe, but we realize the importance of lifting up those already laboring for revival, endurance, and boldness. Let’s join together in this prayer for workers—here and abroad .

Steadfast in Hope

Though the waiting is hard and weariness comes, we press forward, letting go of past achievements and trusting the One who called us. “He who promised is faithful,” and we’re grateful for His sustaining love and for the community that holds us up in prayer .

If you have a specific prayer need, reply and let us know. We pray regularly and are strengthened by your journey as well. Thank you for walking with us in faith, hope, and love.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” — Isaiah 41:10

With love and gratitude,
Blessing and Kyle
