Dear Friends and Supporters,
If you’ve ever been involved in supporting missionaries, you know the unique challenges and joys that come with this calling. However, Supporting missionaries requires faith, patience, and a heart that embraces seasons of waiting and preparation. We deeply appreciate your faithful partnership! We want to share how your prayers and gifts are making a real difference, even when progress feels slow.
Since our last update, we’ve been in a season of patient preparation. In August, we gathered vital visa documents, held a showing for our home, and found new caretakers for most of our chickens. With the exception of our two treasured silkie roosters who still bring comfort during this transition. If you know someone who might welcome them, please let us know.
One of the biggest blessings ahead is our upcoming trip to Spain from October 21 to November 12. Originally, we hoped to simply attend a discipleship conference with visas in hand on the start of our new journey. But God.. and isn’t that just like God? But God has broadened this into a short-term vision trip full of potential connections and opportunities. We will engage deeply in the conference, explore Spain’s culture, and strengthen relationships with Bethel and Isabella. We ask for your continued prayers: for adapting to the language, wisdom in navigating new surroundings, and guidance as we seek housing and prepare for the next big move.
As supporters of other missionaries ourselves, we understand that it can be unsettling how much uncertainty there is with missionaries and the journeys God takes them on. A constant mix of the waiting, the unknown, and the desire to see tangible results. Please know that while some aspects feel slow, every step forward is important and God is working powerfully behind the scenes.
Life here continues with normal routines—school and Spanish lessons—and the Living Stones Study remains vibrant. As it approaches six months, it’s been rewarding to see how the seeds we plant now will bear fruit for eternity. Your prayers for wisdom and guidance in this study mean so much.
Kyle’s recent contract ended, and like many missionary families, we rely on God’s provision through you and faithful supporters. Your prayers for his next employment opportunity are truly appreciated.
We’re excited to share another milestone. Flint Outreach has officially received 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. This means all donations are tax deductible, including past gifts. Thank you for your generous and faithful giving!
Our recent participation in Ten Days of Prayer with children helped us see God’s heart through their unique voices—a beautiful reminder of how every supporter and missionary plays an irreplaceable role in God’s plan.
Thank you for your partnership, patience, and prayers through every season. We are encouraged by your support and look forward to sharing more stories and updates after our Spain trip.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Kyle & Blessing
