Dear Friends, Family and Prayer Partners,
If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like to love a neighborhood one street at a time, this letter is for you. You’re not just reading an update, you’re part of the story.
The story so far: relationships, streets, and small steps of obedience.

When we first arrived, the question wasn’t “What can we do?” but “Who can we love?”
We’ve been building relationships with the neighborhood and our local church, showing up consistently so people know we’re here to stay. Each week, we go out into the neighborhood seeking “people of peace”. Those who welcome us, listen, and open doors for deeper connection. We prayer-walk the streets, asking God to prepare hearts and show us where He is already at work.
We helped with preparation for a rastillo (a church outreach/event happening in September), serving behind the scenes and alongside local believers. We’ve had meetings with family and ministry partners, listening, learning, and aligning for what’s next. Day by day, we’re learning the culture and Spanish. This consists of making mistakes, laughing, and slowly feeling more at home. And in the midst of it all, we partnered with a ministry to create a children’s prayer guide for the Hindu world, trusting that even little hands can pray big prayers. None of this is glamorous. But it’s real. And it’s where God has placed us. What’s next: coaching, church, and ten days of prayer.
Looking ahead: Kyle will be coaching with basketball and soccer teams. We know God can use anything. So, we see this as a way to meet people, pray with them, and form genuine relationships. There will be more events and other ministry opportunities at church where we can serve and connect.
We’re committing to regular neighborhood prayer walks, worship hours, and a focused “Ten Days of Prayer” (Sept. 11-21, check out https://www.10days.net/ for more info) for our streets and neighbors. These aren’t just activities. They’re open doors. And every one of them is a chance for God to meet someone through you and through us. Where we need your help is this mission doesn’t run on momentum alone. It runs on partnership.
Financially: Ongoing support makes it possible to stay present in the neighborhood, create resources, and respond to opportunities as they arise.
Wisdom & direction: We need prayerful counsel. Continue to lift us up in prayer as we seek which way we are supposed to go, and what we are supposed to do.
If you are a prayer warrior, and want to join our weekly hour long prayer, calls sent me an email and I’ll get you the information to
join us. We are praying for Spain, the city, people we are ministry to and with, and even for people who join the calls.
Partnerships: Whether through your church, small group, or personal network, we’re looking for partners who want to join us in this story for the long term. Since arriving in Spain, we have consistently fallen short of the funding we need. Now, while our American home remains on the market, continuing to cover its expenses alongside our ministry costs has become a significant burden.
Would you consider making a one-time gift of $25, $50, or $100 to help meet these growing expenses? Or would you join us as a monthly partner, providing steady support for the work God has called us to do? Either way, your generosity makes a meaningful difference in our lives and in our ministry among the people of Spain.
Additionally, If you know of any openings, or people who might need help, with graphic design for ministry (print, digital, social, curriculum, church/missions materials, etc.), I’d be grateful for introductions or ideas. I, Blessing, love using design to serve the gospel, and am looking for freelance, part-time, or project-based opportunities. If something comes to mind, a quick reply or forward would mean a lot.

If you’ve felt led to support missions but weren’t sure where, this is an invitation. You don’t have to move countries to be part of what God is doing here.
There have been hard days. Uncertain moments. Times when the language felt impossible and the streets felt quiet.
But we didn’t give up. We are continuing on in the strength God gives; day by day, hour by hour. And we’re not walking alone. You’re with us.
How you can step in
- Pray: Use the children’s prayer guide with your kids or small group. Pray for our neighborhood, our church, and the “people of peace” we meet.
- Give: If you’re able, consider a one-time or monthly gift to help sustain this work.
- Connect: Reply to this email if you’d like to hop on a call, set up a Zoom, or explore partnership ideas.
Thank you for being part of this story. We’ll keep writing, one street, one conversation, one prayer at a time.
In His Grace,

Kyle & Blessing
